The Ransome Manufacturing Breakaway Coupling is primarily installed on the hose between the meter and the nozzle on a dispenser cabinet.

  • The Coupling swivels freely to prevent the hose from kinking.
  • It is designed to disengage during an accidental drive-away.  This will prevent damage to equipment and fuel loss.
  • Valves in each half of the coupling are immediately activated to prevent and excess loss of fuel, avoiding a potential fire hazard.

The BCT-1 Breakaway Coupling Resetting Tool is available as an accessory to make breakaway resetting a snap.
